Human Health and Climate Action Challenge 2020

Everywhere, MA

The Human Health and Climate Action Challenge is an interactive, virtual event that combines personal commitment, public education and crowdfunding to raise awareness about how organic agriculture is linked to human health and the Climate Crisis, and to support NOFA/Mass in doing this important work year-round.

NOFA/Mass is asking you to make an individual commitment to change your lifestyle and/or make a contribution to a healthier planet and a stronger, more resilient, community.

From October 1 through October 31, 2020, NOFA/Mass members and supporters will be challenging themselves in one of these five categories:

  • Food as Medicine

  • Pollinator Protection

  • Healthy Soils

  • Become an Activist

  • Physical Feat

The future of our world, and food security as it should be, depends on a steadfast community of growers, consumers and supporters that do everything in their power to hold together the bonds of nature and humanity.  Please join us for a month-long focus on educating your network about the importance of organic agriculture and a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to support NOFA/Mass’s ongoing education and advocacy efforts around organic agriculture in Massachusetts.
